The Founder, Designer, and Creative Coordinator

Kouakou Djézeahou Aude Elsis, better known as Aude Harris was born in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Africa and comes from the Baoulé Tribe. Having a mother from Monrovia, Liberia, Aude was able to incorporate her knowledge from both countries into her swimwear. Aude graduated from Virginia State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Marketing.

Upon graduation, Aude traveled back home to Ivory Coast where she was inspired by the culture, people, and, textile of clothing. “My ideas are gathered from my love for traveling, art, fashion, and modeling all wrapped in one. It has always been my passion to embrace my heritage while still incorporating fashion that will make you feel vivacious and effortlessly sexy”. “My goal as a designer is to continue to inspire many students and other young entrepreneurs to find their God given talent and use it to change the world.”

The Brand

AUDE formerly know as AudeSwim by Aude is a collection of daring and timeless luxury  swimwear styles, resort wear  mens wear and accessories. AUDE utilizing cheeky Brazilian cuts, seamless finishes, sexy high cuts, and matching sets.  Along with a mixture of unique and bold designs, including African tribal prints, women and men  worldwide can connect to African heritage. 

Collaboration/ Shows 

The brand has collaborated with several Universities, Organizations and fashion shows  through showcases in hopes to inspire many students and other young entrepreneurs, to value the African culture.  Some of these University include: Virginia State University, Old Dominion University, State University of New York at Oswego, Stony Brook University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Penn State Altoona , and Cornell University. Fashion Shows include  Miami Swim Week, New York Summer Explosion
